Jesus Is Near

Welcome to this week’s message from our Church, New Beginnings Baptist Church of Hillsboro Mo. Pastor Wayne will give his sermon on “Jesus Is Near” In the second music video below.

To visit use for a live service and meet some of our wonderful people, we meet at 11 each Sunday morning at 5 Ridgewood Drive in Hillsboro Mo. We do have Sunday School classes for all ages at 10 each Sunday before our service. Use the map to the right if you have any trouble finding use. We welcome all who like to here God’s word.

Pastor Wayne will read from Luke 24:13-36 to start this week’s message. This is the story of Jesus visiting two disciples on the road from Jerusalem after the crucifixion and resurrection. They did not recognize him until after he was gone.

Home Bound and Prayer Concerns

We have several members that have had surgery or a recent hospital stay, please keep them in your prayers.

Please Pray for those at school this time of the year. We have several going to College and regular schools. Pray for the Teachers that teach our children to keep them safe.

For those who know someone who is home-bound without the internet, drop us a note as we are putting the weekly services on media that people can play on a computer or DVD player. Let us know your needs and we can get you copies of all of our sermons that are on the web.

For those who still do not yet feel comfortable in crowds, we will continue to post our sermons once a week. For those out of our area like Annette, we will continue to pray for you and give you a sermon every week.

Bible Study

We will continue Bible Study April 17, 2024 at 7 PM at our new location in Hillsboro, for directions see map to the right. Come join us as we study God’s word in the book of Jeremiah.

Be safe while you are out and about. Please follow my advice and if you are in Pig Pens space you are too close. We are continuing to the social distance at services, if you feel comfortable come and join us on Sundays and Wednesdays.
